Built for the work after “which charity?”
A client asks whether a charity is financially sound, whether its principal work appears effective, what changed since the last review, and whether another gift is likely to matter. The answer should not live across twelve tabs, an old PDF, someone’s inbox, and a spreadsheet nobody wants to own.
The Advisor Workspace gives that work a durable home while keeping the evidence, uncertainty, and donor decision distinct.
Available today
These are production capabilities, not a roadmap disguised as a feature list. Where the product is still limited, we say so.
Organize charities by client, household, foundation, mandate, or giving decision. Keep each research set separate without rebuilding the same spreadsheet every time.
Capture private context, assign open work, track due dates, and preserve the questions that still need an answer.
Invite teammates by exact email as viewers or editors. Owners retain control over invitations, access, removal, and portfolio deletion.
Compare two or three charities using normalized public-record fields, save the set, and reopen the same shortlist later.
Open the Document and Source Center for filing versions, source links, retrieval dates, and hashes. Use What Changed to see filing deltas and verified developments.
Keep an immutable activity record and export portfolio metadata, charities, private notes, tasks, and activity to a deterministic CSV whenever the work needs to leave No Halo.
The workflow
Use public records for orientation, fresh research when the decision warrants it, and the workspace to preserve what the team learned.
Start with the household, foundation, or giving decision. Add the charities already under consideration.
Open free public-record profiles, Source Center records, What Changed history, comparisons, and dated Deep Research reports.
Add private notes and tasks, invite the right teammates, and preserve an audit trail instead of scattering decisions across inboxes.
Turn on weekly monitoring for saved charities, export the file, and share dated research when the client is ready to decide.
A better client answer
Exact-EIN identity, IRS status, filings, financial history, governance disclosures, compensation, audit evidence, grants, and verified material developments where available.
Original records, source links, retrieval dates, hashes, and current or superseded filing versions stay visible rather than being silently replaced.
See exact changes between the latest two available detailed filings and follow material events by procedural state. The system states what it cannot yet establish.
Deep Research is separately purchased when a current decision needs a new investigation, six-question analysis, dated recommendation, and source trail.

Advisor questions
The plan is intentionally simple. The evidence rules are not negotiable.
No. The plan is billed monthly. The 14-day trial converts to the $149 monthly subscription unless it is canceled before billing begins. Billing and cancellation are managed through Stripe’s secure Customer Portal.
No. The Advisor Workspace pays for organization, collaboration, monitoring, saved comparisons, and exports. Deep Research credits and commissioned professional services remain separate because they create new research work.
A signed-in user can enable consented weekly email monitoring for individual saved charities. Delivery history, unsubscribe controls, bounded retries, and bounce or complaint suppression are built in. Portfolio-wide cadence controls and immediate alerts are not yet available.
Not unless they are deliberately invited into the portfolio with an appropriate role. Private workspace data is account-bound. Unlisted report-sharing links are separate and can be revoked.
No. The production Advisor Workspace is self-service. Institutional API access remains a reviewed pilot because customer endpoints, metering, licensing, and operating controls are still being completed.
It is designed for registered investment advisors, wealth managers, philanthropic advisors, family offices, foundations, trust teams, estate attorneys, CPAs, and other professionals who repeatedly evaluate charities for clients.
Access principles
No hidden winner score. Reporting periods, missing data, and unlike operating models stay visible.
No private customer data in the API. Any future institutional API response remains separated from private reports, accounts, and personal information.
No payment intermediation. No Halo researches charities. It does not hold, route, or custody charitable funds.
No bought conclusions. Subscription and research fees pay for tools and work, never a favorable assessment.
Institutional and API pilot
The Advisor Workspace does not require an access request. Start the trial above. Use this form for institutional onboarding needs, portfolio-monitoring requirements, or a reviewed API pilot. An inquiry is not a purchase and does not create a subscription or API credential. No unrestricted production API keys are issued automatically.
