San Ysidro Health opened southeastern San Diego's first neighborhood urgent-care facility
San Ysidro Health opened a six-bed, walk-in urgent-care center in southeastern San Diego. The center operates weekday afternoons and evenings with seven clinical staff and emergency-care providers. Reported services include triage, minor illness and injury treatment, cardiac screening, X-rays, laboratory testing and patient education. A Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly is also planned for the building in 2027.
Status matters. This page records a sourced development, not a completed No Halo investigation. An allegation is not a finding. Dismissals, settlements, judgments, corrections and final outcomes remain distinct.
Donor relevance
Why this matters
The opening adds walk-in medical capacity in a community whose residents previously had to travel outside the neighborhood for urgent care. On-site diagnostics and evening hours may improve practical access for underserved patients.
