Bread of Life opened 31 permanent supportive-housing apartments for chronically homeless Houstonians

Bread of Life’s $13.96 million Knowles-Rowland House provides 31 single-room apartments paired with on-site support for people who have experienced chronic homelessness. Sixteen apartments were designed for residents with mobility or sensory needs. Temenos Community Development Corporation supplies case management, counseling, substance-use treatment and life-skills support, while referrals come through the Coalition for the Homeless.

Status matters. This page records a sourced development, not a completed No Halo investigation. An allegation is not a finding. Dismissals, settlements, judgments, corrections and final outcomes remain distinct.

Why this matters
