Health First announced 214 layoffs and the end of its Hospital at Home program

Health First announced that it would eliminate 214 positions across its Brevard County operations, primarily in management, clerical and administrative roles. The nonprofit health system said two patient-facing programs would be absorbed into other operations, while its Hospital at Home program would end without a named internal replacement. Business reporting said the cuts represented roughly 2% of the workforce.
