Tallahassee Democrat reports Second Harvest unveiled a 28,000-square-foot hunger-relief facility

The Tallahassee Democrat reported that Second Harvest of the Big Bend unveiled a new 28,000-square-foot food center in Tallahassee on September 24. More than 200 officials, community leaders, donors and partners attended. The organization said the facility will allow it to host more volunteers and expand its capacity to provide food to individuals and families across the region.

Status matters. This page records a sourced development, not a completed No Halo investigation. An allegation is not a finding. Dismissals, settlements, judgments, corrections and final outcomes remain distinct.

Donor relevance

Why this matters

A substantially larger hunger-relief facility can increase food handling, volunteer participation and regional distribution capacity. This is a durable operational investment rather than a one-time food drive.

Who reported or established this
