Haitian organizations and donors alleged Red Cross mismanaged Haiti-relief donations in a federal class action

A complaint filed November 25, 2024, alleged that the American Red Cross and its leadership mismanaged or misrepresented the use of hundreds of millions of dollars raised after Haiti's 2010 earthquake. The allegations were contested and were not findings. The plaintiffs later amended their complaint several times before the case was dismissed.
