Van Go reports expected loss of one-third of its budget as workforce contract ends

Van Go said its approximately $330,000 annual contract with Kansas WorkforceONE will end September 30, representing about one-third of the arts-based youth employment charity's operating budget. Current participants were expected to remain in programming, while WorkforceONE would assume case management, transportation, education funding and emergency support. The organizations were discussing a smaller performance-based funding arrangement.
