Minnesota attorney general settles alleged false child-nutrition claims with Partners in Nutrition for $18.5 million

The Minnesota Attorney General alleged that Partners in Nutrition knowingly submitted false claims for federal child-nutrition reimbursements during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. Under a consent judgment filed September 24, the nonprofit agreed to pay $18,517,909.27, provide additional records, cooperate with related investigations and permanently dissolve. The settlement resolves the state's claims against the organization but not potential claims against its officers, employees, site operators or vendors.

Status matters. This page records a sourced development, not a completed No Halo investigation. An allegation is not a finding. Dismissals, settlements, judgments, corrections and final outcomes remain distinct.
