Community Partnership of the Ozarks opened a refurbished hub for children and family services

KSMU reported the ribbon cutting for the refurbished Darr Family Foundation HUB at the O'Reilly Center for Hope in Springfield. Community Partnership of the Ozarks is repurposing the property for family services after moving its One Door and homelessness programs to another site. Participating organizations include public schools, health and social-service agencies, the Doula Foundation and a childcare operator.

Status matters. This page records a sourced development, not a completed No Halo investigation. An allegation is not a finding. Dismissals, settlements, judgments, corrections and final outcomes remain distinct.

Donor relevance

Why this matters

The project places childcare, family support, public health and community-building activities in a shared site and reuses an established nonprofit facility rather than leaving it underused after programs relocated.

Attribution

Who reported or established this

KSMU reporter Chris Drew documented the ribbon cutting and attributed the hub's service plans and partner list to Community Partnership of the Ozarks Vice President Amanda Coleman and event speakers.

Evidence limits

What remains unverified

No Halo has not established the total renovation cost, the value or duration of each partner's commitment, expected service capacity or measurable outcomes for participating families.
