Fox Valley relief partners reported more than 500 tornado-affected families assisted after the Community Response Fund awarded $5 million
Fund leaders announced September 16 that all $5,021,050 donated to the Fox Valley Community Response Fund had been awarded to 33 nonprofits. Of that amount, $4.1 million was designated for household assistance through LEAVEN and People of Progression, which reportedly had helped more than 500 families since September 1. More than 600 additional requests and appointments remained.
