Wheeler Mission completed service and security improvements at its Bloomington men’s shelter
WFIU reported that Wheeler Mission completed renovations funded through a $4 million campaign. Improvements included renovated kitchen, dining, classroom and office areas, private lockers, a covered patio, a care center and a double-lock single entrance. Shelter capacity did not increase, but the project was designed to improve service quality and site security for a facility housing at least 70 men on many nights.
