Donor relevance
Why this matters
Exceeding the campaign target provides meaningful near-term support for grants intended to help families with critically ill or injured children remain in their homes. The concentration of several large corporate commitments is also relevant to donors assessing revenue sources.
Attribution
Who reported or established this
The donation totals, campaign participation figures and impact metrics were reported by the MBA Opens Doors Foundation and its parent membership organization, the Mortgage Bankers Association.
Evidence limits
What remains unverified
No Halo has not independently confirmed that every pledge has been collected, whether any commitments include conditions, or the reported cumulative totals for families assisted and funds distributed.
Right of reply
Organization response
Foundation leaders said the campaign leaves the organization on solid financial ground for 2027 and credited support from the real-estate finance industry. The foundation said grants of up to $2,000 per month are provided through a network of children's hospitals.
