WYSO reported that LifeCare Alliance took over Dayton-area Meals-on-Wheels deliveries after another provider closed
LifeCare Alliance began test deliveries on July 9, 2026, after Senior Resource Connection ceased operations June 30. WYSO reported that LifeCare Alliance was serving former clients across the Dayton region and Miami, Greene and Darke counties, preserving meal service for more than 600 seniors and hiring about 20 drivers from the closed provider. LifeCare Alliance said federal reimbursement covered only part of the expansion and that it needed additional fundraising, vehicles and warehouse capacity.
