In Her Shoes expanded fresh-food access with a second Farmacy Marketplace and a mobile grocery route
In Her Shoes opened a second Farmacy Marketplace grocery store in Oakland, Mississippi, on April 26, 2025, after previously establishing a store in Webb. Its mobile grocery truck also began making weekly visits to Jonestown, Coffeeville and Mound Bayou with fresh produce, meat and packaged food. The mobile operation received a $125,000 grant from the American Heart Association's Bernard J. Tyson Impact Fund, while federal agricultural funding supported related work with small farmers.
