Prince George’s County leaders request return of $7.6 million from Edward Charles Foundation while grant review is pending

Prince George’s County Executive Aisha Braveboy and County Council Chair Krystal Oriadha requested that Edward Charles Foundation return approximately $7.6 million associated with Community on the Frontline, a fiscally sponsored initiative. Braveboy also directed the county auditor to work with an outside firm to review funds directed to the initiative since 2024. County officials expressly said no finding of wrongdoing had been made and did not allege that money was missing.
