Pottstown Cluster kept pantry services operating next door after a fire closed its main building
Reporting published September 28 said a September 2 rooftop air-conditioning-unit fire closed the Pottstown Cluster’s main pantry building. The nonprofit moved operations to an adjacent building it owns, maintained its usual pantry schedule and initially received replacement food from Share Food Program so distributions could continue.

Donor relevance
Why this matters
The response appears to have prevented a prolonged food-service interruption, but the primary facility remains unusable and the charity does not yet know whether it can renovate or must relocate.
Attribution
Who reported or established this
The report attributed operational details to communications director Makenzie Clanagan and identified Share Food Program as the organization that supplied food immediately after the fire.
Evidence limits
What remains unverified
No Halo has not independently assessed the fire damage, insurance coverage, food-distribution volumes after the move or the suitability of the temporary operating space.
Right of reply
Organization response
The Cluster said it was determined to continue providing food and essential resources, maintained normal pantry hours at the adjacent building and was awaiting an insurance decision on renovation or relocation.
