Beth-El Center held an October 19 groundbreaking for a new Milford operations center planned to include 15 permanent supportive-housing units, 10 emergency-shelter units for families and 12 micro-shelter units for individuals and couples. Plans also call for a 24-hour service hub, workforce and education space, family lounges, a kitchen, dining facilities and a children’s playground.
