Ohio attorney general says former Eastside Mission Food Pantry co-director was indicted over alleged $37,500 theft
A Delaware County grand jury indicted former food-pantry co-director Kathryn Whiting on felony counts involving theft from a protected class, telecommunications fraud and prohibited practices for charities. Prosecutors allege she stole at least $37,500 from Eastside Mission Food Pantry and its donors between January 1, 2024, and September 14, 2026. The pantry is a ministry of Eastside Mission Interdenominatial Church. An indictment is an allegation, and Whiting is presumed innocent unless proved guilty.
